Hero Banney Ki Tarang – “aray bhai, picture abhi baaqi hai, hero ki talaash jaari hai”

No film is ever complete without its brave and dashing hero. In some cases a hero commands such great influence that he has millions of devoted fans trying to look like their idol, aspiring to become a super star. Remember the waheed murad cut? Or the famous signature dialogue of Mustafa Qureshi: “Navva aaayawa soniya?”

A hero is a larger than life figure with an ability to shape opinion and set new trends. A hero is all rounder, be it drama, action, romance, chivalry, valor, courage, determination, values or style. These qualities endear him to the people who see in him all that is good, and therefore love to watch him on screen, film after film.

“Hero bannay ki tarang” launches Pakistan’s biggest hero-hunt to answer the million dollar question: “Who is the next hero?”. With “Hero banney ki tarang” we find a new reality-based show that delves deeply into the hearts, minds, and the very psyche of contestants who are all vying to become Pakistan’s next big hero! They all have Tarang – lots of Tarang to fulfill their dreams! But is it enough?
